After doing some research, it may be that YT requires the “modestbranding” parameter to be first in the string. However, I tried that and it didn’t work. But, I accidentally included a space before the first ? and it worked – Do you have a work-around to make this function properly?
That YouTube logo seems to be automatically part of any video uploaded, and if you uncheck the “Min Branding” option when using a straight YouTube link, you would then see related videos when you pause your video and at the end. That said, I believe I have found a way around both issues (realizing that YouTube can change things whenever they wish of course):
