FAQ – Can’t Edit After Update

You are here:

Have you upgraded to WordPress’s newest version? If not, please deactivate all plugins before updating WordPress, then reactivate the plugins 1 by 1 after the update to make sure that there are no issues with any of the other plugins.

In addition, please note that whenever WordPress has an update, we recommend that you wait 2-4 weeks before updating to give developers time to upgrade their themes and plugins, so you can avoid any unnecessary issues.

Also, here are a few things you can do.

To ensure that you are using the most current version and to rule out a faulty install please reinstall Profit Builder and the Profit Builder Theme (if you are using it). Please, back up your site first, deactivate all other plugins and reinstall Profit Builder and the Profit Builder theme. Don’t worry you won’t lose your data when you reinstall. Deactivate and delete Profit Builder and the Profit Builder theme, download fresh copies from your members’ area, reinstall and activate. Then activate the other plugins one by one to ensure there are no issues. We repeat “make sure you have backed up your site before deleting”.

If after the reinstall the issue persists it might be related to a plugin or theme conflict. Please go to the support center Trouble Shooting page at https://kb.imsuccesscenter.com/kb/faq-plugin-theme-conflicts and there under no. 1. you will see detailed instructions to help you with checking for plugin/theme conflicts.

Also, please clear your browser cache and if you use a cache plugin, such as W3 Total Cache, clear the page cache as well.
